Vintage Peerless Handcuff Co. Police Handcuffs – Springfield, Massachusetts – With Key
Excellent vintage law-enforcement collectible manufactured by The Peerless Handcuff Co. of Springfield, Massachusetts, U.S.A.
These are an older American-made Peerless design carrying two early U.S. patent numbers, making them much more interesting than a modern pair of standard issue cuffs.

Includes the attached chain/swivel assembly, key ring and key/tool shown in the photographs.
These were acquired from an estate containing Los Angeles County Sheriff-related memorabilia and other law-enforcement items. The previous owner was believed to have been a retired law-enforcement officer; however, the specific history of these handcuffs and their original agency use has not been independently verified.
The cuffs show genuine age and use with surface scratches, marks, patina and general wear consistent with an older law-enforcement item. They have intentionally NOT been polished or restored, preserving their current vintage appearance.
