Ithasx5 20awg EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer rubber)-insulated color-coded fine stranded (26x34 stranding) high-conductivity tinned copper conductors, twisted/spiraled together around a central jute filler, then covered with a rayon inner braid to maintain conductor orientation, then wrapped in an 85% coverage tinned copper braid shield, then covered in a cotton serve separator wrap,lastly allwrapped in a black EPDM outerjacket. Rated 90C/600V. Made in the USA.See specs below.

High Conductivity Copper is Belden's version of the oxygen-free copper (OFC)that is touted by some other manufacturers in their audio cables. Electrolytic Touch Pitch (ETP) High Conductivity Copper Audio Cables are used for microphones, studio interconnects, receivers, power amplifiers, speakers, etc and are also used for the internal wiring of high end speakers themselves.Premium Belden audio cables utilize only high-conductivity copper produced by a process called Electrolytic Tough Pitch. This refining process produces a conductor that is 99.95% pure copper, resulting in high-conductivity per ASTM B115. The high purity obtained from ETP copper results in superior audio cable performance.
