For sale used Marconi 2018A signal generator, option 404A.
Frequency range 10 kHz to 520 MHz. Regular models are 80 kHz to 520 MHz but this is option 404A so the frequency range is extended from 10 kHz to 520 MHz.
Level settings from -127 dBm to + 13 dBm in 50 ohms.Amplitude, frequency, pulse modulation internal or external.Six internal modulation frequencies.
I tested the operation and accuracy of the unit using various test equipment as seen on photos ( spectrum analyser, oscilloscope, voltmeter, modulation meter, frequency counter ). All the functions tested were performing well and within specified limits.
Cosmetically there are surface scratches that don\'t affect the work of the unit, the plastic feet are broken ( see photo ).A key marking on the orange key marked AM has faded out ( see photo ) - that is the key below Carrier frequency key - it\'s faded out although still visible, and it works fine as all the other keys, just faded.
Set up to work at 115 V AC at the moment, internal switch to setup to 230 V if needed..
Comes with operating/service manual as PDF file on CD and power cord. All the other equipment seen on photos is not included in sale it\'s there just to show the operation of the unit.Returns are accepted within two weeks; the conditions of the return are that all the accessory shipped has to be returned and tampering labels have to be intact in their places, in other words the unit can not be opened if refund is requested - refund is given for the purchase price ; shipping is buyer\'s expense.
