This listing is for ONEsnap-on RFI - EMI filterthat will fit cables up to 9mm diameter. It measures about1-3/8\" in length.It will filter out radio frequency and electromagnetic interference from power lines, machinery, walkie talkies, etc. that can cause erratic operation of metal detectors. Just clip it onto the cable close to the control box. If needed, the filter is easily removed.Iuse a 9mm on my Minelab X-Terra detector. Yes, the inner hole\'s a little bit larger than the cable, but using a few wraps of electricaltape does the trick and the tape is hidden by the noise suppressor. 7mm(available in myother sales) is also okay, but it\'s also slightly larger than the cable but requires fewer wraps of the electrical tape. The 5mm might be a bit tight for some - perfect for others. This is, of course, depending on your specific cable size - they vary.
