Up for sale is a Waters 484 Tunable Absorbance Detector (UV/Vis), Millipore-branded, pulled from a working lab environment.

Condition / What we observed:

Unit powers on (see photos of front panel lit up)
Display shows \"FAIL\" in the absorbance/sample field
Wavelength/sensitivity display shows \"1\" and separately \"3.30\" in different power-up states (see photos)
Keypad and REMOTE section appear physically intact
NOT functionally tested beyond power-on — no HPLC flow, calibration, or absorbance accuracy testing performed
Rear panel intact with fuses, address dial, and connector ports (see photo)
Cosmetic wear consistent with lab use: scuffs, a worn UV radiation warning label, some surface staining on the case

Being sold as-is, for parts or repair. Given the FAIL indication, this unit likely needs diagnostic work (lamp, calibration board, or optics) before it could be returned to service — ideal for a lab tech, repair shop, or someone needing parts (deuterium lamp assembly, keypad, chassis, rear power module, etc.) for another 484 unit.

Shipping insurance is free for every purchase valued over $250. The buyer must notify the seller within 48 hours of receipt if the product has been damaged through shipping.
