Original vintage Monroe Chemical Co. Model 40-A automatic control accessory developed especially for drilling and tapping operations; actuated by downward spindle movement; compatible with all four Mister Cool-Tool models.

The Model 40-A was designed to automatically control operation of a Mister Cool-Tool mist unit during machining. Period Monroe literature describes the 40-A as an automatic control valve used for mechanical intermittent mist operation.

Factory literature identifies the Model 40-A as including:

This listing is for the vintage factory-sealed Model 40-A box shown in the lead photos. The original paper sealing tape remains intact, and the box has not been opened by us. Because the package remains sealed, the contents have not been individually inspected or tested.
