This professional-grade testing unit is housed in its original red/maroon carrying case and includes the rare, highly sought-after Hickok CA-4 Universal Socket Adapter plugged directly into the center test island.This unit retains its original factory metal serial plate on the exterior case, clearly stamped with Serial No. 391-03901 from The Hickok Electrical Instrument Company (Cleveland, Ohio). Cosmetically, the internal tester faceplate is in beautiful, exceptionally crisp condition with bright, clear lettering, intact switches, and all original knobs present. The analog meter glass is clear and unbroken.The outer maroon textured carrying case shows standard signs of vintage wear, including light scuffs on the flat panels, minor fraying/chipping at the corners, and age-related wear on the bottom edges as pictured. Note that the top lid of the case has name markings ("For Larry Dunlap") written in black marker across the center. The case remains structurally solid with functioning latches and handle.Mechanical & Roll Chart Notes: The built-in tube data roll chart paper is in beautiful, clean shape, completely readable, and un-torn. The chart thumbwheel is pushed in slightly compared to the factory position, but it still spins perfectly fine and rolls the paper chart smoothly without slipping.Tester Functionality: This unit is estate-found and has not been professionally calibrated or tested with vacuum tubes.
