The VIAVI MTS 6000A V2 is a compact, modular network and fibre test platform widely used by telecoms engineers and fibre contractors for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of singlemode optical networks. Fitted with the VIAVI 8126B OTDR module, it delivers dual-wavelength (1310/1550 nm) singlemode OTDR measurement with a dynamic range of 41/40 dB, covering ranges up to 400 km — making it equally at home on short-haul access networks and long-haul infrastructure. The 6000A V2 platform runs VIAVI's latest software (V21.76, updated February 2024) and features a high-visibility capacitive touchscreen, hard disk, and StrataSync cloud connectivity.
