Rockville is proud to introduce our new RCS series of products. The RCS180-6 is a 180 Watt 6-zone rack mountable digital hybrid amplifier/receiver. This amplifier is capable of 70 volt, 100 volt, 8-ohm, and 4-ohm applications. This makes it perfect for use in a room or any other setting where many speakers are needed.With 3 mic inputs; each with echo control, you can use this amplifier for announcements, speeches or even Karaoke night! This model also includes a chime button so you can create a chime sound before making announcements.The RCS series features Bluetooth audio streaming so you can play your favorite music or access a playlist right from your phone! This amp also features both USB and SD inputs allowing you to play audio stored on a USB thumb drive or SD Card. There are also 2-line inputs that allow you to plug in another audio device such as an MP3 player, CD player, TV, etc. This is our new and improved version that now has optical input so you can connect this to a digital source like a television or projector.The built-in clipping limiter function protects your speakers and the amp from overheating. For further protection there is also a cooling system in this amplifier that will keep the components running cool making the amplifier durable and reliable.Our goal with the RCS series was to make it possible for anyone to install 70 volt systems on their own without spending thousands of dollars on a contractor. There is a tap switch on the speaker so you can easily select how many watts you want the speaker to get from the amp.

8 Ohm power handling:

When we say the word tap, we are referring to the switch that is located on the rear of these speakers where you can select how many watts you want the speaker to play. What this does is limit how many watts the built-in transformer on the speaker will allow the speaker to get from the amplifier. This gives you full customization over the sound for your space. In a restaurant for example you can tap your dining room speakers at 6 watts, and the hallway or bathroom speakers at 3 watts.The wiring is simple. You just wire all the positive terminals of the speakers to the positive 70 volt terminals of the amplifier. The negative terminals on the speaker simply get wired to the negative terminals on the amp. You do not have to worry about impedance. The power is constant.

Warranty Repair/Exchange Period: 1 YEAR

If your item is defective or you want to return it for any reason within the first 30 days of when it was delivered to you; you have the following options:

We will send you a pre-paid shipping label to replace the item for a brand new one.
We will send you a pre-paid shipping label to exchange the item for another item of your choice. If the item you chose is more or less money we will work out the price difference with you.
If you are returning a working item in used condition for a refund there will be a 20% used item fee deducted from your refund. All replacements and exchanges are free.

Replacement/Processing Time:

Your replacement or refund will process within 3-5 business days of when we receive the item.

Please note items with physical damage un-related to shipping are not covered under warranty. Registered software cannot be returned.

You MUST notify us within 48 hours if you receive an item that was damaged during shipping.

Process for returning items

Please email us with your user ID, Item code / model #, Condition of the item, and the reason for your return. Please also indicate whether you would like a replacement, an exchange, or a refund. We will supply you with a reference number (RMA #) to put on the package which will ensure quick processing of your return. All returns require a RMA# to be returned back to our facility.
