I am offering a component-level repair service for the Zeon Endeavor battery pack. I have all components on hand and offer a two-day turn around. I do not replace batteries as it's a simple process that anyone can do and I would essentially only be charging to provide a warranty on a third-party battery. An easy way to tell if your device needs a new battery is if the run-time gradually reduces. If your charge light does not light or if it flashes when plugged in, you most likely need a charging circuit repair. If your device only needs a new battery send me a message, I would be happy to walk you through the process if you would like to do it yourself. All repairs are warrantied for 1 year. In response to a message from a fellow Zeon Endeavor repair provider, I feel the need to explain the difference in cost between our services and why I choose not to charge $300. After repairing my wife's Endeavour battery pack which had stopped charging, I decided to look into purchasing some dead units and refurbish them. A quick search yielded no results. It did however list some $300 repair services and that began my desire to offer a more affordable alternative.
Not willing to offer a repair service on a device that I didn't have a schematic for and have only ever repaired once, I decided to reverse engineer the Endeavor piece by piece and create a schematic and board layout to reference. In order to validate my schematic and layout, I had a blank PCB manufactured and I built one from scratch. In addition to validation, it also gives me a known-working device to swap suspected faulty components onto for confirmation. With this board and schematic, I am able to very quickly diagnose and repair these devices. The whole process takes no more than a half hour and a few dollars in parts. The money I make from offering this service is just something to support my hobbies, I am not trying to make a living off of it.
