IF USING THE NEW KEYPAD AND PLUGGING IT INTO AN OLDER LOCK BODY THAT IS ON YOUR SAFE, THIS KEYPAD WILL ONLY WORK WITH SECURAM LOCK BODIES THAT ARE MADE IN 2017 OR NEWER. THE KEYPAD DOES NOT HAVE DIP SWITCHES TO WORK WITH OLDER LOCK BODIES - DOES NOT!
THE KEYPAD DOES NOT STORE THE COMBINATION. THE COMBO IS STORED IN THE LOCK BODY(SOLD SEPARATELY). WHEN PLUGGING THIS KEYPAD INTO A LOCK BODY, THE MANAGER CODE AND USER CODE WILL BE WHAT IS PROGRAMMED TO THAT SPECIFIC LOCK BODY.
