Vintage Ingento 9 paper cutting table with a large wood work surface, heavy-duty manual cutting arm, foot-operated clamping system, built-in measuring guide, and fold-down front work shelf. This substantial piece has the look and construction of an older commercial or institutional paper cutter and would be well suited for a print shop, art studio, school, workshop, restoration project, or vintage industrial display.

The main tabletop remains smooth overall and provides a generous working area. A footboard/pedal mechanism operates the wooden clamping bar, allowing material to be held firmly against the table while cutting. The side measuring rule extends to approximately 30 inches and is marked “Ingento No. 7,” while the table itself is marked Ingento 9, suggesting the measuring component may have been replaced at some point during its working life.

Condition

Vintage pre-owned condition with considerable age- and use-related wear. The main tabletop is smooth overall, with one smaller area that could benefit from light sanding or refinishing. The surface shows discoloration, finish wear, staining, marks, and other evidence of long-term use.

There is rust present on the back side of the cutting blade/arm assembly, along with finish loss, oxidation, scratches, and wear to the metal components. A thin veneer layer underneath the tabletop is beginning to loosen along portions of the edge. The legs and lower woodwork show dirt, marks, finish wear, and streaking that may be old paint or another surface residue.

The fold-down front shelf also shows scratches, spotting, discoloration, and general wear. The measuring guide is marked “Ingento No. 7,” while the table is an Ingento 9, so this component may have been replaced at some point.
