Built with advanced microprocessor solid-state logic, this 24VAC controller is designed to provide automatic sequencing, precise ignition sparking, and constant flame rectification for intermittent pilot systems.

Engineered to upgrade and replace legacy SP845 and SP745 units, this module features a highly responsive diagnostic LED to assist in fast troubleshooting. During a call for heat, the control opens the pilot valve and initiates a 90-second spark sequence. If the pilot flame is not established and verified after 3 attempts (with a 6-minute purge delay between tries), the system enters a safe 1-hour lockout period before automatically attempting re-ignition.

💡 PRO INSTALLATION TIP:
Check your ground! A poor grounding connection is the #1 cause of intermittent flame-sensing failures and "nuisance lockouts." Ensure the module and pilot assembly are securely mounted to bare metal. Additionally, this module requires a minimum 20 VA transformer to operate correctly. Before powering on, verify that your ignitor spark gap is set exactly to 7/64" for optimal spark delivery. Lockout & Retry: Provides 90 seconds of spark, then a 6-minute purge delay between ignition attempts. After 3 unsuccessful tirals ( No pilot flame sensed) the module enters a 1-hour lockout period. After lockout, if head demand remains, it automatically retries 3 more cycles. Manual reset also available at thermostat.
