HP (Hewlett Packard) 5971A Series Mass Selective Detector (MSD), Division 2300-0425, Serial # 3304A04322.

This unit is a stand-alone capillary GC mass selective detector designed for use with the HP 5890 series gas chromatograph. It includes the GC interface, electron impact ion source, monolithic quartz hyperbolic quadrupole mass filter, electron multiplier detector, power supply, drive electronics, and analyzer vacuum system, configured for a right-side sample inlet. Condition/Testing: Unit powers on and the display lights up. It has NOT been fully tested beyond power-on — no tune, calibration, or vacuum/pump function has been verified. Selling as-is for parts, repair, or refurbishment. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description. Cosmetic wear consistent with age and lab use (scuffs, light staining on housing).

What's Included: MSD mainframe only, as pictured. Power cord included. No manuals, no GC, no additional accessories unless shown in photos.
