Vintage Fabri-Tek Model 420 magnetic-core buffer memory assembly, Product No. 9993775-00.

This is a genuine early magnetic-core computer memory module dating from approximately 1969–1970. Period Fabri-Tek literature identifies the Model 420 as a 1,024-word x 8-bit buffer memory with a 4.0 microsecond full cycle time and 600 ns access time.

Complete multi-board stacked assembly with original Fabri-Tek Model 420 identification plate, wiring harness and connector as shown.

Period construction includes magnetic-core memory circuitry, TTL logic, numerous metal-can transistors and discrete components. Several components carry late-1960s date codes.

Made in USA.

This is an especially interesting surviving example of pre-semiconductor-main-memory computer technology and would make an excellent piece for a vintage computer, magnetic-core memory, industrial electronics or computing-history collection.
