Airborne Instruments Laboratory Type 390A-3 Microwave Crystal Test Set, Serial No. 279, Patent 2,585,353. Portable, battery-operated tester for 1N21, 1N23, 1N25, 1N26, 1N28, 1N31, and 1N32 microwave mixer crystals. Marion HS3 meter with Good/Poor scale, CAL/TEST switch, 60 to 80 calibration dial, NORM/REV switch, remote test jack, and full schematic on the inside of the lid.Condition: the battery is dead so I am unable to test it. Meter needle rests at zero, glass intact. Case shows wear, paint loss, and residue on the lid from a removed label. Original military inventory and lab certification stickers remain, including an "instrument is not calibrated" tag. Sold as a vintage collectible; not calibrated, no certification.
