Always disconnect main high-voltage power at the outdoor disconnect box before servicing the motor! Whenever replacing a condenser fan motor, ALWAYS install the included new run capacitor at the same time. Running a new motor on an old weak capacitor can cause high amperage draw, thermal tripping, and premature winding failure.
