I have a specific need for an electronics project
I have done minimal circuit work in the past and believe what I am looking for should be simple and inexpensive to produce

I want to play an MP3 audio clip (10 seconds or so) when lamp is turned on

I currently have an IR remote that energizes a lamp, when the lamp is lit I want to hear the Audio file,
What I am envisioning is some type of "box" that will sense when the line is energized
and play the MP3 file,
so the input would be 110v or, a signal from a current sensor contact
and the output would be a phono plug or headphone jack that I could send to an amp/speakers

Something like this with an LRD(light dependent resistor/photocell)+transistor to trigger the PCB.
