External screen speedometer

I wish to attach a device to existing speedometer which will collect the data and transmit it wirelessly to a external digital display. 1 speedometer 2 screens wirelessly connected.

is this possible or am i not putting it right?
if there is a simpler method or existing device
pls do share.
