Help needed with vu meter and flex sensor

I'm pretty new to working with electronics, but I've been able to wire up a vu meter on a bread board with LED's and a LM3915 driver. Instead of using an audio jack for the vu meter, I want to use a flex sensor so the the LEDs can visualize how much the sensor is flexing.

Does anyone know how to go about attaching a flex sensor to an LM3915 driver chip?
