Need Help On Running Message Display Circuit Diagram

Hi Everyone,
I am new into electronics,and happy to be here,there is this interesting circuit i saw under "Lights & L.E.Ds" circuit with the name "Running Message Display"..I find it interesting to buid it for my project,from what i saw,only WELCOME having seven(7 )alphabets was used for the circuit..
Now,how can i make such a circuit to be able to carry up to fifty-five(55) alphabets in the display board?..Please,your urgent response will go a long way in helping to plan ahead
