This machine packs a powerful Arc. I first tried 6011 1/8 rods but switched to 7018 because they are a more versatile rod. But for the money you can not get a better deal than this! I’ve welded 1/4 steel no problem!

    great for its size

    welds good for a 110v. the amp setting dial is off though, says iys a 225 amp but id say more like 150 170. for its price you cant beat it, just dont try to weld any thing too thick,. its greast for small jobs.the outlet running it had a 30amp breaker for it and welding would trip it. after putting a 40amp double core breaker in havent had one problem. its worth getting,does just fine for what i need it to do.

    Stick welder

    This little machine packs a powerful arc. I’ve burned 2 boxes of rods thru it so far . 6011 and 7018 1/8” and it welds 3/16-3/8 thick metal with ease. It doesn’t like to arc perfectly until the rod gets down to about half. That has to do with it being 110v thou. But for a hobbiest or a weekend welder.. this welder is for you.
