Bipolar 2SC2879 transistors still have their advantages.
This BJT has a large gain bandwidth. It has great performance in the 27-30 mHz region. Input and output impedances are also consistant as well as voltage gain. It can be operated in low or high power applications with low order distortion in good designs.
