For Sale a Rare / Vintage- 1927 Colombian ironworks “ PIV “ made in Chattanooga, Tennessee, dated almost 100 years ago. A real piece of history! A Post Indicator Valve (PIV) is an above-ground, lockable, and visible valve used to control underground water supply for fire sprinkler and protection systems. It features a, often red, post with a small glass window that clearly displays if the valve is "OPEN" or "SHUT," allowing firefighters to quickly verify water access. Non-working valve, which can be used as a show piece in a man cave or garage.
Stripped down to bare metal each part of the unit.  Primer each piece painted and lettered with multiple layers of clearcoat.
 Comes with operation wrench and water valve locator sign.
