Lot of 20 EG&G/Perkin Elmer FX-1105 FX-1102 Xenon Flashtubes NOS + Used Boxed:

This lot includes 20 xenon flashtubes spanning three successive brand labels from the same manufacturing lineage: EG&G Opto-Electronics, EG&G Electro-Optics, and Perkin Elmer Optoelectronics, reflecting the company\'s corporate rebranding over time. The lot is a mix of model FX-1105 and FX-1102 flashtubes, each in its original individually labeled box with flashtube model number and lot/code number filled in by hand or stamp. Several boxes share the lot code 01B680; other codes visible include 9903, 0002, 0006, 02-03, and 0011, along with one box labeled FX198 (with FX-198 Flashlamp). All units appear either new old stock or lightly used based on box condition and internal appearance. On close inspection, the internal electrode and trigger-wire assemblies on the flashtubes examined look fresh and unfired, with clean glass envelopes and no visible arc scarring or clouding. Pin condition varies piece to piece — most show clean pins consistent with unused stock, though a portion show light oxidation, discoloration, or handling wear on the pins themselves despite the internal firing mechanism appearing pristine. Buyers should assume normal age-related pin oxidation across the lot rather than uniform like-new condition throughout, since these have been in long-term storage.
