In great condition, this product is generally secured to a desk or table with a vice grip and thus has no base. This is not because the base is missing, I guess this is pretty common with drafting lamps, but as I don't know anything about drafting I can't be sure of this or tell you why. I am unsure of the country of origin, so if you are purchasing this on the assumption that it was made in China, keep in mind that this may prove unture in the future.
use as heat or regular lamp (if you change bulb and remove safety cage) heat lamp for for food service, pet, agricultural, or personal use. My cat is very fond of this lamp and may have burned himself if not for the safety cage. I worry he will soon learn to overcome it, he is drawn to the heat like a moth to flame, or, perhaps... a cat to a heat lamp.
I cannot include a picture of him as anyone seeing him would be moved by his adorable face and buy anything he is pictured next to, and that is not fair to other sellers. But if you message me I will send you one so long as you promise not to let it influence any purchasing decisions in an irrepressible way, by asking for the pictures you are agreeing to this stipulation.
