Manufactured with Cortec® VpCI® technology, the polyethylene film incorporates anti-static properties that help reduce electrostatic discharge during handling, storage, and transportation. The anti-static performance is built into the film and does not rely on topical treatments that may wear off over time.
In addition, the bags contain Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors (VCI) that vaporize and condense on enclosed metal surfaces, forming a protective molecular layer that helps inhibit corrosion. When properly sealed and stored, this provides long term corrosion protection, depending on environmental conditions.
Protection is provided in a clean, dry format without oils, greases, or desiccants, and leaves no residue on protected parts, eliminating the need for cleaning before use or assembly. These bags do not affect optical properties or plastic used in electronics, and do not affect solderability of PCB or parts (IPC-J-STD-003C).
Manufactured from 3 mil polyethylene, these bags feature a reclosable zip closure for repeated use and are suitable for storage, shipping, and inventory control.
