You are buying 1 Avaya Partner 18D Series 1 Black Phone 108236712 108883257 108236639 7311H13.The phone is thoroughly tested and cleaned, comes with a tested Handset,NewHandset cord,NewLine Cord,Newpaper insert and cleaned/non yellowed or new Plastic overlay, wall mount/stand may be black.The buttons may show some fading and yellowingare these are used fully functional phones. The phone display may tilt down to a side, from broken pegs, but will stay in the uprightposition and is fully functional. It will come with a 30 day warranty.

Phone System Wiring:

You will need toconnect the phone lines into the phone system from your phone company's phoneline box with an individual wire for each phone line (single pair/2 Conductorshould be fine – 2 pieces of copper on the phone jack).

You will then needeach Partner phone to also have an individual home run wire run from anavailable Partner station port to the desired location of each phone using aminimum of a 2 Pair/4 Conductor wire (meaning when you look at the phone jackyou should see 4 pieces of copper).

Telephone Man of America sells two mainphone systems (Avaya IP Office and Avaya Partner ACS) that are made by Avayawho was formerly known as Lucent Technologies and before that was known asAT&T. What that means to you is that it is a well-built phone system andeasy to find support if you need it.

The Avaya IP Office is a newer system thatis still in production and requires a PC and Administrative tools to do theprogramming and requires programming for functionality. Everything you need toinstall the system will be sent after a purchase is made. The Avaya IPOffice is very feature rich and is expandable up to 384 phones and can also connectup to 1,000 users over 32 locations. The Avaya IP Office is ahybrid system of old and new technologies. It can support traditionalanalog phone lines, PRI/T1 phone lines or VoIP/SIP Trunk phone lines. Itcan also support analog or supported/compatible digital and network on oroffsite VoIP/Internet phones. Because the IP Office can supportoffsite phones it provides an option for end-users/employees to take advantageof teleworking or telecommuting or the option to work from home if needs be.

The Avaya Partner system is an olderdiscontinued more traditional Phone System but will be in service for 20 moreyears to come. It does not require a PC or Administrative software forfunctionality and as long as you connect the phone lines and the phones to theright ports on the system you can make and receive and phone calls and is asclose to plug and play as you will ever get! It has 175 built in featuressuch as remote call forwarding to external phone numbers such as a cell phonenumber so you can still be accessible to your customers and not be at theoffice. The Partner ACS system starts with a capacity of up to 3 analog phonelines and up to 8 Partner phones and is comfortably expandable up to 12 analogphone lines and up to 32 Partner phones with mailboxes for all users. ThePartner system’s maximum capacities are up to 31 lines and up to 48 extensions(can’t be obtained simultaneously).

Both Phone Systems need wiring from thephone company (for your analog Phone Lines) to the phone system and each phoneneeds a dedicated wire run from the phone system to the desired location foreach non VoIP phone.
