Searching for a special potentiometer.

Postby z26 » Tue Nov 25, 2014 6:17 pm

Hi,

On the internet, if you search for an arduino compatible joystick, there is a lot of results coming up that look like slight variations of the attached file (the pot's just above the white "27800")

I'd like to get some potentiometers similar to the ones used on these joysticks, since
1. they are pretty small and 2. there is little friction when you are turning the shaft.
However, I wasn't able to find those pots sold separately.

If someone know where to find pots similar to these I'd appreciate the info.

Thanks!

I Googled: [repair pots for joystick] and under Images found http://www.guitar-parts.com/catalog/korg-pot-joystick-362009052
Since you didn't say how you wanted to use them, it might be cheaper to just buy a joystick off of eBay and disassemble it.
