FM modulator with discrete components

Hi
I want to design an FM modulator with discrete components. The carrier frequency is 100KHz and the modualting signal frequency can be anything between 2.8KHz to 7.6KHz. There are some solutions available with varactor diodes. But the design details are not mentioned anywhere. The following are some of the circuits available.
