question need your opinion

Postby kenichi » Tue Oct 29, 2013 4:21 pm

picture A - i think the LED will get burn.
picture B- LED wont get burnt.

question : why picture B wont get burn?
can anyone here help explain?
what will happen if the supply voltage in the picture is 220v is it ok to use 0.1ohm resistor?and what if the resistor is 1Mohm , is it ok to use 0.1v as the supply voltage?

Picture B is slow because resistors limit the current flowing through the LED.

PradeepKumar, why are you answering old posts like this one?
It being 3 years old, do you really expect a reply, let alone the op coming back to the Forum to see if someone has replied?
Also, did you bother reading the rest of his post? Wanting to connect 220V to the circuit? This would be a safety issue and if you had any knowledge you would have warned him not to even contemplate using 220 volts, which I'm certain would be AC.
Sorry mate, but please DON'T answer posts which you're really not sure on, you're only making yourself look like an idiot.

Since PradeepKumar joined the forum there is a habit of doing this. If you look at his(?) previous posts, they are mostly replying to old, old posts
