I've always looked at the grounds as protecting people from hot appliances when grounds fault but it seems a lot of people think the grounds are there to protect electronics...Has anyone had issues with their electronics after moving into an old home with no grounds? I've lived in such a home before and never had an issue but I am preparing to move into a new one and am doing some new research.
