Inverted NC/NO Relay

Postby JoshMac » Fri Oct 25, 2013 12:52 pm

Hi Everyone,

I had a circuit board professionally made a short while ago, and while I was designing the board I have accidently switched a relays NO & NC contacts.
I have attached 2 pictures showing what I am looking for.

Can any one tell me if any relays are actually manufactured like that? If the do exist, is there a special name for them?

Thanks in advance,
Josh

Not that I've ever seen :(

But you could lift the relay a bit and run wire's under to cross them, or on the back side of the board cut the trace and run a wire to the next contact in the proper order. It's not pretty, but works. I've seen this done on 50,000$ air craft circuits when they implement mods :)
