Please help me with the circuit and its components

I need a circuit which has 2 LED emitters coressponding to 2 LED sensors.emitters are kept at one side and sensors at one side.emitters and sensors are 3 to 4 feet apart.emitters are supposed to emit IR rays contineously which is sensed by sensors.if the beam is broken the output at sensing end should go high(to enough level to trigger a flip flop).and the output should be high as long as the beam is interupted.and it should go low when once the beam reappears.please give me the circuit diagram along with component names.its a battery powered system.
