Long Range FM Transmitter

Hi. Has anyone successfully built the long range FM transmitter that somebody posted (from India?) sometime ago? It incorporated a BB109 varicap diode, a BF494 for the oscillator and a 2N3866 as the class A amplifier. Thanks.
