Need help converting servo audio amp

I'm trying to convert an old Velodyne F-1200 servo feedback amplifier to work with non servo woofers. If I unplug the accelerator feedback plug from the factory driver and leave positive and negative audio leads attached, the woofer starts making ticking noises. I've read that clipping a single capacitor lead may stop the amplifier from requiring this feedback to work correctly with regular non-servo woofers. Thanks!!
