Extra PC keys

I'm trying to create a remote keypad for a game.

I will need about 6 or so keys.

I'm intending using large keys on the keypad and laying them out is a manner that is more suited to the game than a typewriter.

I wonder if anyone has any circuits which I could adapt.

The keys would of course need to be mapped into the PCs keyboard, for example, q, w, e, r, t, y. Or any others. From there my software can program them to respond appropriately.

Really appreciate any suggestions.

Apologies everyone. Found an ideal solution.

If requested I will post details. Suffice to say its a ready built module which allows for 32 keys. But don't want to be accused of posting spam.
