Connect 3 different elements to solar powered battery

Connect 3 different elements to solar powered battery
I wish to connect 3 different elements to solar powered battery.

Battery: 5 V
Element 1: 5 V
Element 2: 4,5 V
Element 3: 3 V

Do I have to connect 2 DC/DC elements like on this scheme:

Or is there a better way to connect this?

Googling this problem, I found out that it would be better to use resistor voltage divider or to use diodes (diode voltage drop).

Somebody suggested this:
5V Battery → Element 1: 5 V
5V Battery → 1N5818 → Element 2: 4,5 V
5V Battery → 1N4001 Diodes x 3 → Element 3: 3 V

Do you think this would be ok?
