Laser arrived safely and works great! The included software however is very stale and is no longer comparable with the current version of inkscape. Thankfully MeerK40t is a much better alternative that works as it should. MeerK40t is also open source and free to download and use.

Despite all the horror stories about damage upon shipping, poor grounding practices and cheap components assembled by low wage workers, I received me K40 ready to go and damage free. Proper grounding circuit and aligned mirrors already. Maybe I got lucky or maybe this was looked at here in the states after it was imported and some quality control was done. Either way well worth every dime and this seller is the one to use if seeking a K40 with all the sellers out there.
