I\'ve had numerous people contact me telling me that there are no fans in these units. They do make noise when plugging them in, which you should be aware of. Perhaps it\'s more of an electronic buzzing sound. One kindly gentleman warned me about electrocution, so I do not plan to mess with them anymore unless you have some specific request and can assure me I won\'t be turned into extra crispy.
