Keysight U2049XA LAN Wide Dynamic Range Power Sensor10MHz - 33GHzKey Specifications
  • Wide dynamic range peak and average power sensor(-70 to+20 dBm)
  • Connector type: 3.5 mm (male)
  • LAN/ Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) connectivity for longdistance remote monitoring (up to 100 meter)
  • TVAC compliant for operation in vacuum
  • Best-in-class long term drift performance
  • Internal zero and automatic calibration saves time andreduces measurement uncertainty
  • Easy measurement start-up with new intuitive Option TVA: thermal vacuum option. What does this mean?
    • Get the same accuracy and performance in thermal vacuum(TVAC) chambers with the world’s first TVAC qualifiedpower sensor. With best-in-class long term driftperformance, LAN power sensor is ideal for fault detectionand monitoring of satellite systems. And with LAN/powerover Ethernet (PoE) connectivity, a first in the industry, you can perform long distance, remote monitoring ofsatellite systems with ease and confidence.
    • The U2049XA Option TVA (thermal vacuum option) is a LANTVAC compliant power sensor which may be used within athermal vacuum chamber. This sensor has been meticulouslydesigned by selecting components with minimum outgassingproperties. This sensor can also be subject to temperaturecycling in a vacuum chamber to stabilize the materials andto remove outgassing over Ethernet connectivity
      • Overcome the cable length limitations associated withUSB connectivity. With Power over Ethernet (PoE)/LANconnectivity, the LAN power sensor is able to performremote monitoring over a single span of up to 100meters. The PoE connectivity is also compliant to theIEEE 802.3af or 802.3at Type 1 standards. Note that thetypical LAN port found on a PC or Keysight instrumentswill not be able to power up the LAN power sensor. Atypical LAN port is only used for data transfer andcommunication. The LAN power sensor must connect to aPoE port, which can be used to supply the DC powerrequired to power up the sensor and to transfer zero and calibration

        • Save time and reduce measurement uncertainty with theinternal zero and calibration function. Each X-Seriespower sensor comes with technology that integrates a DCreference source and switching circuits into the body ofthe sensor so you can calibrate the sensor while it isconnected to a device-under-test. This feature removes theneed for connection and disconnection from an externalcalibration source, speeding up testing and reducingconnector wear and tear. This internal zero andcalibration function allows continuous long distance andremote measurements by maintaining the accuracy of thesensor, and is useful in manufacturing and automated testenvironments where each second and each connection counts.
