Fully tested in working order up for sale is a 27 year old vintage monitor that can handle TTL, VGA, CGA, Amiga 15Khz RBG Composite all in one great unit! Requires a standard PC power cable. It does have some yellowing due to age which is shown in the photographs under very bright lighting. The serial number is hard to read at this point. And the cable screws are starting to show some signs of rust (shown in photos) but does not affect the functionality of the port or the monitor. It could use some cleaning and those cable screws could be replaced easily but I did not want to do any more then wipe the dust off to clean it up because of it\'s vintage status... everything is original! This will be especially well packaged and shipping insurance will be required. Includes a 14 day return for any reason.
This is the one monitor that can replace all those old vintage monitors on your desk. Perfect for the vintage tech bench!
The DiamondScan is one of the few VGA-type multisync monitors that has a composite video input, and that made it relatively common for use on the Amiga. The official scan rates cover the range from 15.6 kHz to 36 kHz, so the DiamondScan works with all normal Amiga video modes. User controls are standard knobs and buttons as shown. The DiamondScan works fine with the Amber board as well.
One feature of the DiamondScan is particularly applicable to the video production uses of the Amiga: the \"Composite/RGB Select\" (pin 22) on the DB25 input. Connect this pin through a switch to ground, and then a flip of the switch will select composite video or analog RGB display without reaching for the switches on the back of the monitor.
