I have little training/experience in electronics but do know a few basics since having a couple of quarters of electronic theory while in school several years ago. I've build a few simple projects, and some of the products I design at work are automated so I do run into the need for some electronic understanding from time to time.
My question: Can anyone recommend a good circuit simulation program? Preferably cheap/free and is up-to-date enough to run on my laptop which has Windows 7. I used PADS when it first came out, but that was "back in the day" and students got free copies. I remember it was VERY cool having this software to use, and we got extra credit if we did our weekly breadboard project on it and brought in a print.
Thank you in advance....
