Identifying CMOS ICs

Postby geekyworld » Fri Jan 23, 2015 11:05 am

I have a few old IC 555s lying in my component box. How to find if the ICs are CMOS or not?

Thanks.

If the part number has a 'C' in it, such as LMC555, then it is almost certainly CMOS

Also the TS555, TLC555, ICM7555, ALD555, CS555C are CMOS....Maybe others that have come and gone too.

What part #'s?
