Meditation timer

Postby geekyworld » Wed Jan 21, 2015 10:51 am

Dear friends,

I'm an electronics newbie. I want to build a meditation timer that would make a sound after a set amount of time, say 45 minutes, has passed. It should be easy to build and should run on 3v or if possible 1.5v .

Can you suggest such a circuit please?

Thanks.

With the cost of ordering parts and the tools to assemble one, I don't think you could come close to the cost of this: http://www.webstaurantstore.com/taylor-5806-classic-digital-timer/913UTL264.html?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=GoogleShopping&gclid=CI_qoO7qpcMCFRCEaQodITsAVA
However, If the building is the most important part, for circuits Google: CD4060 long timer

Taylor 5827-21 White Classic Digital Timer is one of the best mediation timers to go about with.
