Sometimes you need to do two factors at once. For example you might want to flicker an LED (or some other time-sensitive function) while studying a key media or other feedback. In this situation, you can't use delay(), or you'd quit everything else the system while the LED blinked. The system might skip the key media if it happens during the delay(). This draw shows how to flicker the LED without using delay(). It keeps a record of the before the Arduino converted the LED on or off. Then, each time through loop(), it assessments if a lengthy enough period has approved. If it has, it toggles the LED on or off.
