Need to pulse 9vdc?

Postby takagari » Mon Oct 28, 2013 1:48 am

Hi, glad to be on the forums finally, long time reader :)

I'm new to the design thing. and we are building a bunch of bomb prop's for a play.
I'm trying to find the cheapest and simplest way to make a 9vdc source pulses, once a second.
Will be activating a red LED and a pizeo. I could also use a hand finding the best piezo that give's a nice beep.

9vdc is needed as other item's will also be using 9vdc in the prop. and I need to build 10 of them.

Thank You!

Welcome to the forum. I think the easiest and cheapest pulse generator would be to make one from a 555 timer. For a piezo, how about this one

or there are many more here.
