regulate +12 down to -55V

Postby zhangz64 » Sun Jun 09, 2013 4:10 am

Hey guys, I am trying to find a Ti chip that will allow me to regulate a 12VDC input to -55VDC,
I could not find any thing that goes as low as -55VDC,
Since, I am new at power management.
My question is:
Do those kind of chip even exist(TI chip or chip from other company)?
if not ,Is there any other way to get -55VDC?

You don't give any circuit but I assume that because you are "new at power management" it needs more than a few milliamps.

Is there any way you could modify the input so that you need -12VDC to give -55VDC?
