Rotating around the axis makes sounds/melody

Hello everyone,
This is my first post here and I don't know if you could help me.
I am working on a little school project. It will be a children playground but I will be doing only a 1:15 model. The playground will be a musical playground, it means that all the equipment there will make some kind of a sound or melody by moving with the equipment.
for example : children's roundabout by rotating around its axis starts to play a melody or a sound and by rotating it faster it adjusts the sound somehow.
I would like to make something similar with a swing (again it is rotating around the axis), with a seesaw and others.

Now, is there anyone able to help me with some ideas of how to make this, or by pointing me in some other direction?
I would appreciate any help. I am a total beginner in electronic circuits.

Well I just found something called Arduino. Maybe this could do it.
