Simple 9volt battery circuit.

Postby trip96 » Thu Mar 15, 2012 4:54 am

Hey guys I need help designing a circuit. Here is what I need.

1. The circuit has to run off a 9Volt battery

2. The circuit is connected to a material of constant variating resistance (think skin). I imagine using a regulator, but which one should I use? And how would I Wire it?

3. The circuit has to have a maximun output of 3mA but no less that 2mA.

4. The circuit has to be able to be "turned up" or start from zero output to the ~2mA output. I am thinking potentiometer, but which one should I use? How do I Wire it?

3mA current from a 9V battery would mean a load resistance of 3000 ohms. But skin resistance is far higher than that.

Can you give more details of your application?
